Events & Activities
It wouldn't be a community center without community events. At the OCC we host various events, fundraisers, weddings, festivals and ball games — and, of course, we are where the Red Cross sets up in times of need.
RV Spot Rentals
RV rentals are available at the community center. Whether you're just looking for a place to lay your head for the night or for the week, the OCC has you covered.

Who we are!
In the early 1960s, the residents of Oakhurst recognized the growing need for a welcoming place where they could gather together for meals, meetings and various social events. A generous longtime local resident stepped forward and kindly donated the land for this important community hub, and with the help of countless dedicated volunteers and generous donations of materials, the community successfully built the Center, officially finishing it in the year 1965. Today, it continues to thrive, operating with a committed volunteer Board of Directors, most of whom represent various local organizations and service clubs, ensuring that it remains a vital part of the Oakhurst community.
